ROLE IN THE PROJECT

Living Lab leader – Bayern (DE): run a clinical study on cardiovascular health in obese children and adolescents and the impact of plant-based diet. The study will include:​

  1. analysis of physiological factors influencing dietary behaviour (focus on metabolic, appetite and hormonal mechanisms), anthropometric and metabolic phenotyping of patients. ​
  2. design and test of effective interventions targeting obese children/adolescents,​
  3. review of the framework to develop dietary guidelines for obese children/adolescents. ​
