Donal also leads the BRIDE Project, which rewards biodiversity improvements, earning him the 2018 FARMING FOR NATURE AMBASSADOR nomination.

Feighery’s Farm

Feighery’s Farm is primarily dedicated to tillage and vegetable cultivation, with a touch of sheep husbandry. In 2018 they began growing beetroots to produce local Irish and pesticide free beetroot juice !
In 2019, Anne-Marie embarked on a mission to bring locally sourced beetroot juice to the Irish market. Recognizing a gap in the industry, she dove into researching its myriad health benefits. From regulating blood pressure to boosting the immune system and providing a hefty dose of antioxidants. Feighery’s farm grows its beets without the use of pesticides and with a commitment to improving soil health with their farming activities.

Ágnes Honey: ÁgnesMéz

Ágnes Jakab is small holder beekeeper and honey distributor. She sells her honey called ÁgnesMéz (ÁgnesHoney) locally in Lepsény, Hungary.
Ágnes currently sits in the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) as an agricultural policy expert and knowledge officer. She also forms part of several government initiatives, working with cooperatives and municipalities to organize eco/bio-markets at local level to support short supply chains and bottom-up initiatives by farmers in Hungary.
