TMG leads the work on the impacts and true cost of diets. TMG is analysing the data availability for true cost accounting, developing a database of the true costs of 2,000 European food products, further developing indicators for socio-economic and social true cost assessments, and assessing the true cost of three different European dietary patterns. TMG is also involved in developing a roadmap for European Food Policy Council and dietary guidelines.​
