ROLE IN THE PROJECT
Living Lab Leader – Bologna (IT): run a clinical study including
- analysis of physiological factors influencing dietary behaviour (focus on metabolic, appetite and hormonal mechanisms), anthropometric and metabolic phenotyping of patients.
- design and test of effective interventions targeting adults with obesity and/or diabetes
- review of the framework to develop dietary guidelines for adults with obesity and/or diabetes.

Development of innovative healthy and sustainable local grain-to-food value chains, including:
(1) optimization of sustainable agricultural practices for cereals and legumes suited for integrated, conservative and organic agricultural managements;
(2) development of new grain-based healthy, nutritious foods focusing on products formulation, raw materials and food processing methodologies.
